The infant program at Precious Babies Learning Academy provides supervised care and early developmental support for babies from 6 weeks to 12 months of age in Pennsylvania. This setting is designed for families who need consistent daytime care while maintaining routines related to learning, feeding, sleeping, sensory development, and social interaction. Daily care is structured around each infant’s individual schedule while also introducing age-appropriate stimulation through interaction, movement, reading, and supervised play.
How It Works:
Families enrolling in infant care typically move through the following process:
- Parents discuss feeding schedules, sleep routines, allergies, and comfort needs during enrollment.
- Infants are supervised throughout the day with scheduled feeding, diapering, rest, and activity periods.
- Caregivers use age-appropriate interaction, such as holding, rocking, talking, reading, and floor play, to support development.
- Safe sleep practices and sanitation routines are maintained as part of standard childcare operations.
- As infants grow, activities may gradually include sensory play, mobility encouragement, and early social interaction.
What to Expect
Infant care generally begins with an adjustment period as babies become familiar with caregivers, routines, and the daycare environment. Parents can expect regular communication regarding feeding, sleeping, and overall daily care throughout the program. Consistency between home and daycare routines often helps support smoother transitions and developmental progress over time.
